mmmmm another tea from our shared order that i had apres our bike ride. This is a deliciously wonderful lemon tea. Seriously..it’s fantastic. What i’m missing though? Are the actual pastry notes. It might be because i didn’t have a lot of almond slivers in this cup, so i’ll see how the next cup fares. That being said.. yes please. i love this one!

I think the almonds really help the cookie feel. My first mug tasted really cookie, but it had a lot of almonds in it. My second mug was delicious, but not so much cookie, and I don’t recall it having nearly as much almond in it. Either way, it was outstanding.
Two totally different tea IMO. Where l’hiver is a creamy lemon…this is more of a tart lemon…and the base teas are very different. If the almond helps with the cookie part, then for sure just all around different teas. If hath at helps?

It IS a fantastic lemon tea, but I wish that I could pick up on the pastry bit, too..
How does this compare to L’Hiver?
