1809 Tasting Notes
I’ve been wanting to try this tea for awhile, but it always seemed to be sold out. I placed an August Uncommon order for a Christmas present, and this was back in stock. Of course I had to grab a sample bag for myself to try. This has a rich, dark, molasses flavor, and no trace of rooibos for me. It’s has a very distinct squash flavor, but isn’t starchy. I definitely would’ve loved to sip on this mid-October.
On a recent trip to Georgia, we stopped at a farm that sold turnovers and pies. Blackberry has always been one of my favorite flavors, so we opted for a blackberry turnover. It was more like a donut stuffed with fresh blackberry compote, and was served with vanilla ice cream. Absolutely decadent and wonderful. This tastes just like that! It has a jammy blackberry flavor, with a bit of cinnamon. The pastry note is distinct as well. I absolutely loved this tea.
Flavors: Blackberry, Cinnamon, Pastries
Mmmmmm. I’ve had quite a few cups of this over theist few days. A bit of sugar really makes this pop. I love the mini marshmallows and the crushed candy cane pieces. It’s so festive looking, and tastes creamy and wonderful.
