oh yum! Thank you again to Nina’s Paris for their willingness to send out samples to us. I am always on the lookout for new delicious strawberry cream teas, so this one was a clear pick for me.
The dry smell is very “fruity” and not a clear strawberry smell. Once brewed, the strawberry flavour is super resent in both the aroma and the tea. I am enjoying very much the fact that although these teas are flavoured tea, the base of the team is present in the drink. This is a really nice strawberry tea that I will likely order when i am allowed to order more teas lol (ie i get my cupboard back down to under 200 since technically i’m for sure over 250 at the moment with all the teas that i can’t log because steepster hates new teas being added).

Thank you again Nina’s Paris for this sample!

Edit: As this tea cools it gets even better as the strawberry flavours come out even more. Also – the second steep is quiet delicious as well, and helps bring out more of the strawberry flavour and blends even better with the tea base.

Sipdown, 782. Thanks to Nina’s Paris for a sample of this tea :)

I couldn’t remember what the flavouring was supposed to be in this tea, and a sniff of it made me think apple… but apparently I’m wrong, as it’s strawberry. Knowing that and sniffing, however, makes it clear that it is strawberry (even though I’m pretty sure you could still convince me that it’s sweet apple!)

Anyhow, this isn’t too bad of a tea. A 2-minute infusion kept the base in check, and there’s a good dose of apple (strawberry) flavouring, which is quite nice. Overall, a fairly tasty fruity black, not my first choice of tea type but better than some I’ve tried!

This has a wonderful strawberry aroma! I found this to be a more bracing tea than Grand Amour, perhaps making it a better choice for breakfast for those who use tea as their wake up. (I don’t, tea is my after breakfast treat!) The base is a bit stronger on this one, more in sensation than taste, but the strawberry shines right on through!

I love that these are great resteepers! I am on the second steep now and I must confess I like it even better than the first. The tea is mellowed now, the strawberry softer. If you love Marco Polo, you really should try this.

As I sit here, I can not help but to exhale slowly through my nose while holding my jaw loosely so that warm strawberry taste gently fills my head, even after the sip. I think if I had a lot of this, I would make half as much tea as I really wanted, resteep immediately, and pour the first and second steeps together. That also cuts the price of your tea in half, and would put this at the perfect strength for me.

Thank you, Nina’s Tea, for these samples! They are amazing and I am so impressed with the quality of your flavored tea. The packaging is so beautiful…whenever I want an elegant gift for someone, I know where to shop!

Strawberry?! Nooooooo, I taste apple! Tart, juicy, delicious apple.
I suppose it could be tart strawberry??? It has some similarities to a few other strawberry black teas I’ve tried, though I can’t pinpoint what they are exactly. and it still doesn’t carry the essence of “berry”. Definitely apple. No question about that. The aroma, the taste, everything about it was apple. I’m a little confused.
Either way, it was yummy. I’d buy more! My cuppa was very flavourful and smooth. A little astringent. Great with or without milk.
Thanks Nina’s Tea for the sample.

Very happy to try samples from Nina’s! Thank you! This one sounded nice. It is! After two steeps at 3-4 minutes each, both cups were the same. It’s very sweet, either from the strawberry or vanilla… maybe double sweet! Strawberry leaves are not as bad in a tea as blackberry leaves, in my opinion, since they don’t have as much flavor as blackberry leaves. So they were fine here. The flavor reminds me of a champagne. Definitely strawberry, as there were small strawberry pieces. The black tea is smooth and velvety.. perfect for the flavors. This blend reminded me of Zen’s Strawberry Cream black tea, but this one wasn’t cream. The vanilla does seem like it gives a bit of lingering creamy flavor. It’s perfect the way it is though! Very elegant!

Sweet fruits! This sample is delightful, and strawberry has been my theme this entire pregnancy! This is a nice dessert for breakfast type of tea. The base is stronger than the strawberry flavor, which is nice and different than the other strawberry teas I’ve had. This one is good. It is not astringent and the brew was a nice brown color. It smells like strawberries and the taste of it was light and mildly sweet. I love how it tastes like WILD strawberries and not artificial at all. I felt like I was picking them from the strawberry bush and eating it… though the flavor is more subtle than actually doing that! I wasn’t able to obtain any of the vanilla flavors, but it may have been there more as a creamy tone. Very subtle indeed, but very good tea! This tea is well blended!

Got this sample from Nina’s Paris during their sample promotion. Just enough for one oversized mug, plus another steep after as soon as I finish this cup.

This is SO STRAWBERRY! And in a good way, not that terribly artificial stuff that plagues a lot of strawberry tasting teas. This is really good! I was a bit disappointed with my first Nina’s tea, but this one totally makes up for it, and I heard that it resteeps well too, though I haven’t tried it yet. But I will in a few minutes! This tea is pretty brilliant. I pick up faint hints of vanilla, but mostly just strawberry and that’s interesting, but not a bad thing. Mostly the vanilla just leaves a creamy edge to the taste. I approve of this tea.

My first Nina’s Paris tea! When I opened the packet and took a whiff the dry leaves (broken with several bits of strawberry), I smelled a strong aroma of strawberry-flavored hard candy, with a hint of vanilla. The liquor of the tea is clear and dark brown. I was surprised by the strength of the flavor when I took my first sip. It is bold. I was expecting a black tea from India, but perhaps it came from Africa (DISCLAIMER: I have little experience in tasting teas from either country (that is, unflavored teas), but I have tried some black tea from Kenya, and this tea tasted very much like it). The tea somewhat overpowers the strawberry, but the strawberry’s presence is stronger during the aftertaste. It is a bit creamy, most likely due to the presence of the vanilla. Thankfully, it’s the strawberry that makes this tea bearable, since I’m not too partial to bitter black teas.

Since this tea is very strong, I would drink it in the morning or the late afternoon after coming home from a long day.
